Biliblanket

Sunday morning before we came home from the hospital they ran Tayven's bilirubin (to check for jaundice). He was at a pretty high rate, so they sent us home with a biliblanket to help keep his levels down. We had to have the blanket directly on his back. It was a little hard to have a newborn attached to a cord only a couple of feet long day and night. We had to take him to the clinic and get his levels checked everyday last week which was hard for me :( They finally started coming down on Thursday and we were able to take him off of it. He is doing great now and we couldn't ask for a better baby!!

Love reading your story! It's so fun to hear about other's experiences! What a beautiful little guy Tayven is - look at those skinny little legs. You couldn't even see my daughter's knees she had so many rolls! Congrats Destiny! Hope you are loving it!
