This past week has been both so Crazy, and so Fun. Last weekend Shawn went to California with his brother Jared. They both love all different kinds of music, so they went to a benefit concert down in San Francisco. Neill Young has put the concert on for a couple of years now and all of the proceeds go to the Bridge School. The Bridge School is an organization that educates children with severe speech and physical impairments. The concert had a bunch of different people (Neil Young, Wilco, Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie, Norah Jones, Cat Power, Sarah McLachlan, Band of Horses, Josh Groban, and Smashing Pumpkins). What a great event that these children can be a part of and benefit from!! *Sorry, no pictures from this event. I sent Shawn with a camera and extra batteries, but he forgot the camera in his car.*

After Shawn got home he had to work 4 graveyards in a row. (That is part of our crazy week). We basically didn't see eachother for a week. Shawn would get off work in the morning and go straight to school and then come home and sleep so he could stay up all night. This weekend has been nice to have him back!!

We celebrated my mom's birthday last Tuesday. We all went out to dinner and then back to Derek and Sari's for cake and ice cream and gifts. My mom is always going all out for everyone else's big day so, we made sure that she had a great day. I could go on and on how I think my mom is the best mom in this world. She has gone through a lot and stays so strong and so loving. She has taught me so much throughout my life through her example and teachings. I hope one day that I can teach my kids the things that she has taught me. We love ya mom!!
We had such a great Halloween. I thought that we would get quite a few trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood, but we didn't. We did have some familiar faces stop by...
Karter and Kylie
Dusty and Colby
After the trick-or-treaters died down we went out to my parent's new shop to party. We had mostly family members show up and had so much fun!!

Sounds like you have had a lot going on. Sure makes time so by even faster. Looks like you had a fun Halloween too. We just took the kids out for a while and then handed out candy and watched football, not to much.

The Halloween party looks like fun! I love when everyone dresses up, though I have a hard time convincing my husband to dress up. Yeah, we only had one trick-or-treater (sp?) at our house up until we left for our party. I think door-to-door is becoming obsolete. Everyone here goes to the mall or Children's Museum. Tell you mother Happy Birthday for me!
