Our exciting week!!

THE NEW BABY

I don't want to ruin a post for Sari, so I won't go into too much detail, but Derek and Sari had their baby Thanksgiving morning. Isn't he so cute?!!

DENVER

We flew to Denver for a couple of days to visit Shawn's sister's family. We had so much fun and wish that we could have stayed longer!! We flew in early enough that we could go to church with them. Zach had his primary program, so it was a perfect Sunday to be there. He did so good on his part!! Amy and Brian cooked a pre-Thanksgiving dinner that afternoon for us that was super yummy!

Monday we hit the outlet malls. We got quite a bit of Christmas shopping done that day and went to a Mexican restaurant called Choptle (we definitely need one around here) for lunch. Later that night we went to a different mall and watched a light show with music.

Afterwards we hit up the Bass Pro Shop and Brian and Shawn could have stayed all night! I do have to admit that they had some pretty cool things set up in there though.

On Tuesday we went to Avery's preschool and learned about different cultures with her. We went downtown a little bit later and walked around for a bit. We walked down 16th St. mall and saw were Brian's old office and new office is. We also saw all of the stadiums were all of the professional (football, baseball, basketball, soccer) teams play.

Later that night us adults went out to dinner. We ate at a place called Texas de Brazil. Brian and Shawn both served their missions in Salvador, Brazil so they were able to talk to the waiter in Portuguese. The food was amazing!! It's a good thing that we don't have one around here. It's an all you can eat salad bar with all sorts of unlimited meat (like Rodizzio's in SLC).

Wednesday we thought we would get to the airport a couple hours early because of everyone else traveling over Thanksgiving. We did stop and eat lunch and stopped at the local "clean" Walmart.
