Well, a lot has gone on since my last post two months ago. When Amy and Brian visited Amy basically told me that I needed to keep up on my blog more, so this is for her!!

We were able to travel to Logan for Rhitt and Jessie's wedding a couple weekends ago and came home with something new.....
That's right, we picked up a new (well, new to us) truck. Shawn's brother, Kyle, had a friend in Utah that was getting a new truck, so he gave us a smokin' deal on this one. It runs good and Shawn thinks that we have to go for a ride in it every night. And let me tell you, he comes up with some pretty good excuses to get in that thing!!
Isn't it a beauty!! Amy & Brian came from Denver and was able to hang out for a week. We went to dinner and a show with them and had a good time. We just wish they lived closer!! This is their youngest, Alyssa, at the wedding.
My younger brother Dallas graduated this year. It's weird to think that he is old enough to be out of school and leaving for a mission the first part of next year.

The family at graduation.A couple of mom's got together and threw a big graduation party at Jensen's Grove the night after graduation. There was lots of food and music. They asked Devin to sing a couple of songs. I'll have to record him and Shawn playing together sometime and post it. Before our basement flooded, we had a lot of their equipment downstairs at our house and they would just sit down there and play for hours. They need to get a little more serious about it and start playing at more things. People love to listen to them!!Shawn had two friends from BYU come down that he served his mission with to hang out. They went to the graduation party with us and then decided to go out to the diversion to shoot Shawn's gun. We just found some random things and was throwing them up in the air. My mom called and said that she heard some sirens and was just checking to see if everything was alright with us because they were headed down rich lane. I could hear them in the background while I was talking to her and looked over and could see 4 cops going down the road. I told her that we were fine and not to worry about us. A couple of minutes later we decided that it was time to go, so all four of us pile in the pickup and start heading towards the road. As we go to get on the road an officer is out of his vehicle talking to someone and we just drive by and pass a cop. He turns around and pulls us over. Turns out they were coming for us!! The officer was way nice and let us go even though Shawn and I didn't have our licenses, four people in the truck with no seatbelts, we had a concealed weapon, the truck wasn't licensed or registered and had no insurance!! Shawn was a little nervous because he had just applied for a job with the county and didn't want that to mess things up with that. I guess it didn't because they called Shawn and set up an interview and then this past Wednesday they called and said that he got the job. He will be working at the RTC here in town. It's a behavior center for youth and he will be in charge of them during the time he is there. He hopes to have more of a set schedule so he can have extra time for fishing and time with his wife!!

Destiny, that was quite the post and I am very impressed. You did such a great job and I love seeing all the pictures!! You should be able to rest from blogging for awhile now--if it gets to be too long, I'll let you know. hehe
