Memorial Day Weekend

This year for memorial day Tayven and I went to Heise with my family. Shawn had a paper due {we missed him dearly though}. We had been planning a camping trip, but decided not to go when the weather was supposed to be bad. We woke up Saturday morning to the sun shining so we took full advantage. My family loves to camp at Mountain River Ranch. They have a pond the kids can fish in and pretty much guarantee to catch a fish. The river is close by that the adults can fish on {when the river is at a descent level} and there are plenty of four-wheeler trails. We didn't know that the ranch would be holding an American Hero day, but we were super glad that they did! They had a free barbecue, a couple of bands playing, a car show, horse wagon rides, and helicpoter rides.
