Shawn was on Spring Break this week and we took full advantage! We headed down to Las Vegas to visit his sister, Jody, and her family. We left Saturday, drove all day, and got in to town late that afternoon. We were a little nervous traveling with Tayven, but he did awesome!! We only stopped a couple of times to change diapers and we were on our way again. We went to Phantom of the Opera Saturday night with Eddie and Jody. We {Jody and I} loved it! Sunday we took a drive out to the temple. I had never been there before and it was a nice Sunday afternoon drive with the kids. Monday we shopped and ate at Buffalo Wild Wings {used to be one of Shawn's favorites before we got there}. Jody was awesome and watched Tayven for us that night while we went down to the strip for a bit. We walked through a couple of casinos and watched the water show at Bellagio.
We did receive some bad news while we were out that Shawn's grandpa had passed away.
Tuesday we were able to watch Elijah play baseball and Elise play soccer for a bit. We headed back Wednesday morning.
It was so nice to get away for awhile and visit the William's family. We just wished the weather had been a little nicer!
