Christmas 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas and hope you did too! We celebrated with a couple of different dinners. Shawn's grandma had one a couple nights before Christmas and my grandma had hers Christmas Eve. My grandma's Christmas Eve party is one of my favorite childhood memories. We would always go to her house and have fried chicken for dinner with lots of other things and the best desserts ever! Santa Claus would always come and bring us toys out of his bag. I always remember the drive home thinking that Santa would come that night and wonder what on Earth he would bring. I always must have been a good little girl because our Christmas morning was always spectacular! I really love getting in to the spirit of Christmas and now that I am older I can see that I get it from my grandma and my mom.
Shawn and I exchanged gifts Christmas morning and then headed out to his parent's house. Shawn had to work at 11 and didn't get off until 7. We went to my parent's house after he got off and enjoyed being there for a couple of hours.
Of course Tayven didn't really know what was going on, but he did get pretty spoiled with lots of toys! He loved all of them and is really starting to learn how to hold things in his hands. He is 3 1/2 months now and is tons of fun. He rolls over every once in a while (never when I want him to), giggles, smiles like crazy, and sleeps pretty much through the whole night. We couldn't have asked for a better baby!
